The Angel of the North is probably one of the most photographed statues in the United Kingdom. On a recent trip to the North East, I visited this icon of the area, and took a good 50 shots of it. While most turned out to be your typical tourist fair, this close up of the structure seemed to provide something I had not seen photographed before.
