Taken close to the Ngutuni Lodge in Kenya’s Tsavo East National Park (a couple of hundred yards in the distance), this lioness was one of around half a dozen who had eaten their fill of buffalo for lunch. The “Nissan” is the type of truck we were driven around in - very warm and lacking in suspension, but great for getting up and close to the wildlife.
