Forgotten

Across the farmland of the South Downs – as with everywhere else – you often find machinery or buildings rusting and rotting quietly into the background. These buildings – heading up either end of a field to the north of Worthing in West Sussex, are bereft of life, but offer a little shelter against the autumnal weather for animals and birds. For me, the image was made all the more striking when translated into black and white.
