Light of God
PreviousNextThe Pantheon in Rome is a building of surprises. From the outside, it looks somewhat dilapidated, but enter through the massive double doors and you are faced with a spectacular interior, lined with multicoloured marble and with shrines and dedications to God and leaders alike. The last surprise, however, comes when you look up. There is a hole in the domed ceiling, specifically designed to let air circulate and light enter.
